CLINICAL SUPERVISOR

Clinical Supervisor

Location: Culpeper, Virginia

Encompass Community Supports, formerly known as Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services (RRCS) is hiring a Clinical Supervisor.

At Encompass Community Supports, our full-time employees work 37.5 hours weekly.

Our Clinical Supervisor Oversees and manages forensic services. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Director of Community Response Services. Supervision is exercised over program personnel

SOME OF THE RESPONSIBILTIES:

· Develops and maintains administrative and clinical files and reports, documenting to meet clinical auditing standards. Ensures compliance with clinical standards for licensing, contracts, and accreditation.
· Assists in the development of individual service plans for clients; monitors care to ensure goals and objectives are attainable; measures performance outcomes of clients.
· Responds to program referrals, conducts screenings, determines eligibility, admits, and discharges clients when appropriate.
· Coordinate the required clinical supervision for ongoing QMHP status
· Ensures compliance with clinical standards for licensing, contracts, and certifications.
· Provides consultation, and education services
· Participates in clinical, administrative and supervisory meetings; facilitates treatment team meetings, collaborates with other staff members concerning cases.
· Provides supervision and in-service training for SA Clinicians and Technicians. May provide clinical supervision for licensure or in support of other clinical goals/activities as assigned.
· Provides orientation, regular and ongoing training and direction to staff on clinical best practices
· Collaborate with community stakeholders, other treatment team members, referral sources, and other community resources with client consent. Maintain communication with these sources to ensure appropriate service delivery.
· Participate in rotation of on-call/afterhours clinical supervision between all the clinical supervisors to cover all programs after hours as Boxwood, Liberty, and SEE Center also have broader hours.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Thorough knowledge of the philosophy, objectives, practices and evidenced based techniques of counseling as related to drug abuse, prevention, treatment or rehabilitation.
· Thorough knowledge of community orientation towards substance abuse problems.
· Thorough knowledge of the court operations and intake procedures.
· Thorough knowledge of the laws pertaining to substance abuse.
· Thorough knowledge of casework methods, drug abuse and substance abuse control practices.
· Ability to conduct interviews and investigations and analyze attitudes and behavior problems objectively.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Master’s degree in human services or related field.
· Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP)
· 3 years of experience providing direct behavioral health services
· Valid Virginia driver’s license
· Employment with Encompass Community Supports is contingent upon the successful completion of our background check process (criminal, DMV, education, drug screening, reference check, DSS, OIG and SAM).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Supervisory experience
· Experience with evidence-based programs.
· The ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
