Encompass Community Supports, formerly known as Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services (RRCS) is hiring for Clinicians and Senior Clinicians.

At Encompass Community Supports, our full-time employees work 37.5 hours weekly.
SOME OF THE RESPONSIBILTIES:
Provides individual, family, and group therapies as well as case management services to meet clients’ needs and productivity standards.
Conducts clinical intakes, diagnostic interviews, Develops and writes comprehensive diagnostic summaries and treatment plans.
Develops and maintains administrative and clinical files and reports, documenting to meet clinical auditing standards. Using collaborative documentation techniques with all documentation completed before leaving that day
Completes Quarterly and Annual Reviews within required time frames.
Participates in clinical, administrative and supervisory meetings; collaborates with other staff members concerning cases.
Communicates with Probation Offices, Courts, Social Services, Physicians and other referring agencies regarding client status.
Telephone communication with clients outside the clinical setting.
Completes discharge summaries no more than 30 days after and accurately reflect progress towards treatment goals.
Supports client reimbursement by properly authorizing services in required timeframe and discussing the requirement to pay at time of service with clients.
Drug tests clients as needed basis or as directed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in Human Services or related field.
LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LSATP or LMHP license eligible.
Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)
1 year of experience in substance abuse and mental health.
Valid Virginia driver’s license
Employment with Encompass Community Supports is contingent upon the successful completion of our background check process (criminal, DMV, education, drug screening, reference check, DSS, OIG and SAM).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.
Spanish speaking is plus
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of diagnostic classification and psychosocial assessment.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of providing care to the emotionally disturbed, socially dysfunctional, behaviorally disordered, mentally ill and/or substance abusive clients and their families.
Knowledge of evidenced based theories and techniques of counseling and crisis intervention. Knowledge of brief therapy techniques thorough knowledge of intake techniques and procedures.
Ability to evaluate and screen clients.
Ability to prepare adequate records and to report findings and data effectively.
Ability to effectively deliver clinical supervision, support and direction to staff in pursuit of licensure or other clinical goals/activities.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, associates and the thorough public.
Knowledge of MS Office, to include Word and Excel.
