*HCA Solutions* is seeking a *part-time Pharmacist* for FCI Englewood in *Littleton, CO!*

*This is a part-time, W-2 position for long-term placement.*

Shift is Monday and Wednesday, 7:00am - 3:00pm.

*Description of Duties*

All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the field of Pharmacy Services, and compliance with all Federal and State policy and regulations.

The services performed by the Pharmacist shall include but is not limited to:

•Reviewing and verifying appropriateness of prescriptions

•Reviewing patient medical records for allergies

•Filling prescriptions

•Physically checking prescriptions filled by authorized medical staff, including the pharmacytechnician and prescribing clinicians, and documenting the verification beside the medicalrecord entry (prescription)

•Ensuring local and national formularies are utilized by the clinicians

•Maintaining adequate inventory of medications

•Providing information to the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee on a quarterly basis or as needed

•Serving as a resource for the clinicians regarding pharmacological issues/concerns

•Providing patient education to the adult in custody population

•Completing administrative duties such as adverse drug reaction reporting, notifying the Clinical Director or their designee of discrepancies in prescriptions

*Requirements*

Employee shall possess the necessary skills, abilities, and credentials to perform services of a pharmacist.
* A current license to practice pharmacy in the State of Colorado
* A Valid Driver’s
* License Proof of CPR(BLS) certification

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $72.69 - $75.13 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
