Job Description
We are looking for an Certified Athletic Trainer to join our Team. New and Experienced Athletic Trainers are welcomed!

Outreach for the athletic trainer consists of providing on-site care for athletes. They will work independently as assigned, or in collaboration with , attending physicians, and other staff in delivering sports medicine services for patients and athletes. They will be expected to continue to facilitate a working relationship with the assigned facility in delivering sports medicine care to the athletes.

Job Duties Include:

Provide and document Athletic Training services to patients and athletes as required under the supervision of Physician per the AMA incident to guidelines
Utilize appropriate, sound, and up-to-date clinical techniques to effectively assess and treat athletic injuries
Complete all documentation and billing in a timely manner per the AMA incident to guidelines
Provide patient and athlete education materials, communicates physician advice/instructions to patient for home exercise programs
Provide sports and event coverage at assigned school location
Serve as patient advocate for student athletes entering our medical practice as referrals from school athletics programs
Assist in the collection of the patient reported outcomes for Sports Medicine Physicians using current Company systems
Serve as Patient Navigator for Sports Medicine patients
Other duties as assigned

License/Certification:

Certified Athletic Trainer (BOC)
BLS Certification

Qualifications:

Cooperative work attitude toward co-employees, management, patients, visitors, and physicians
Ability to triage patient care questions related to post-op, post-injury, infection, complications, etc.
Appropriately interact with patients, families, and others
Ability to flexibly respond to changing demands

Pay Range:

$65,000 to $70,000 per Year, with higher compensation available for someone with advanced skills, experience, and/or certification.
