Compensation for this role: 130K – 150K per year

Shift: 1st Shift - Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm

Summary:

The Supply Chain Manager coordinates, organizes, and oversees all activities involved in the planning, production, and capacity management of the company’s goods. This role is responsible for the Planning (Production Control) Department, Purchasing and Shipping & Receiving departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain
• Develops and maintains detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company, at sites, and in the factory
• Maintains the material data Master of Supplies and materials to optimize production
• Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company
• Develops policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implements subsequent changes to processes
• Generates capacity management reports and monitors execution to ensure on-time delivery to customers
• Acts as part of the team coordinating engineering changes, product line extension, or new product launches to ensure timely and orderly material and production flow transitions
• Conducts Internal Supply management reviews for monthly SIOP meetings
• Hires and trains departmental employees
• Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
• Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
• Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain
• Works in a safe manner following all departmental and plant safety rules and reports any unsafe work conditions accordingly
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering or related field (relevant work experience considered in lieu of degree)
• Five (5) years’ experience in supply chain leadership role in a manufacturing/process environment
• Aerospace industry experience a plus
• APICs certification desired
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, supervisory and leadership skills, with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with employees, management, internal and external customers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in usage of ERPs, SAP preferred

• The employee must lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
