Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Industry: Food & Beverage/Hospitality


Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist with a background in the food and beverage or hospitality industry. This role will handle a wide range of HR responsibilities and serve as a critical team member in ensuring smooth HR operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with ADP Workforce, scheduling, onboarding, offboarding, file management, and benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all HR generalist duties, including employee relations, compliance, and HR policy enforcement.
  • Manage employee life cycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and record maintenance.
  • Administer and maintain HR systems, particularly ADP Workforce, ensuring accuracy and functionality.
  • Coordinate employee scheduling and ensure adherence to labor laws and organizational requirements.
  • Organize and maintain employee files, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Handle benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries, acting as the main point of contact for employees.
  • Partner with department managers to address staffing needs, employee development, and workplace concerns.
  • Support payroll processing by coordinating data with payroll teams, ensuring all information is accurate and submitted on time.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, labor laws, and best practices to advise leadership and ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in the food and beverage or hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency with ADP Workforce required.
  • Strong knowledge of onboarding, offboarding, scheduling, file management, and benefits administration.
  • Familiarity with employment laws, HR compliance, and industry-specific requirements.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse teams.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in high-volume hiring environments or multi-unit operations.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
