Hometown Hero is looking for a highly motivated B2B Account Manager to grow sales in the Texas market and throughout the United States (This is a hunter sales role). This person must have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and be driven to deliver results. The ideal candidate will have experience with building B2B partnerships and working in the wholesale industry.

Ultimately, a successful Account Manager should collaborate with our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services in the long-run. This role will report directly to the B2B Sales Manager for strategy and performance evaluation, with many opportunities for advancement within the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Sell Hometown Hero products to our B2B customers, both in-person and over the phone
  • Connect with key business executives and decision makers, both in-person and over the phone to acquire new business
  • Building and prioritizing sales prospect list
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by developing trusted advisor relationships with key accounts
  • Strategically negotiate with potential and existing customers to close sales
  • May require travel to conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers
  • Making 100 calls a day


Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience of 5 years as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role
  • Experience in B2B sales with a CPG brand
  • Excellent listening and negotiation abilities 
  • Must have the ability to think creatively and be adaptable to changes based on new information
  • Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects 
  • Must have demonstrable communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be proficient in computer use - CRM, sales analytics, email
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check, including a motor vehicle report
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and fully functional automobile
  • Must have reliable transportation for daily in-person territory management, store visits, marketing events etc.


Must be motivated, confident, energetic, independent, empathetic and a GREAT listener.

Job Type: Full-time

Starting Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
