Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Biller at Fordham Dermatology in Bronx, NY. The Medical Biller will be responsible for handling medical billing tasks, resolving denials, using ICD-10 codes, working with insurance and Medicare claims, and ensuring accurate and timely billing processes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Medical Terminology and ICD-10 coding
• Experience in handling Denials and Insurance claims
• Familiarity with Medicare billing processes (HCFA)
• Attention to detail and accuracy in billing procedures
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical office environment
• Certification in Medical Billing is a plus
