Jackson Cardiology Consultants PLLC is looking for a team player, detail oriented, task driven, knowledgeable, problem solving, communicative Medical Biller to join our team in support of our mission.

We are looking for a Medical Biller that is ready to roll up their sleeves, bring a positive attitude and help our practice thrive by building revenue, studying cash flow and strengthening our professional and patient relationships.
Job Responsibilities
In this role, our expectation is that you are responsible for:
- Performing Eligibility and Benefit Checks
- Posting insurance and patient payments in an accurate and timely manner
- Resolving claim rejections
- Managing insurance aging
- Managing patient aging
- Following up on and resolving denied claims
- Submitting claims in an accurate and timely manner
- Advising providers on claim submission best practices
Requirements
Our ideal candidate for this position has:
- 2+ years of medical billing experience
- A passion to work with medical providers in a small office environment
- Client relations experience
- Self motivated with the ability to manage time independently
- Trustworthy and reliable
- Self-awareness
- Out-of-the-box thinking while adhering to standardized processes that have been put in place
- Good technical knowledge of revenue cycle management
- Comfortable speaking on the phone with providers, patients and insurances

We are a small and busy medical office. We work together in a close-knit setting and instill a family-first philosophy.
