The position is for an Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician in Riverside County, CA, focusing on hospitalist services. Responsibilities include managing deliveries, providing OB triage, and caring for high-risk patients in a 30-bed NICU at a tertiary acute care facility. Our client in Riverside County, CA is in need of a Hospitalist-OB Physician for a locum assignment!

Job details:

  • Start - ASAP
  • A full-time position is 7.5 24-hour in-house shifts/month = 2190 hours annually
  • Will consider someone who wants to work a minimum of 6 24-hourshifts/month (still benefit eligible)
  • Responsibilities include delivery attendance, OB triage, patient evaluation/management, surgical assists, fetal monitoring and ER coverage
  • MFM performs rounds and inpatient consults with high risk patients
  • Practice attends about 60 deliveries per month
  • 30-bed community Level-III NICU/newborns 23 weeks and above
  • Affiliated maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology practice support
  • 387-bed tertiary acute care facility and is the only Level I Trauma Center in Coachella Valley, serving more than 8,000 square miles of Southeastern California
  • Teaching opportunities with fellows, residents and medical students.

Job Requirements:

  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
  • CA license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
  • OB Hospitalist work experience - PREFERRED
