Job Description:
- Must be interested in covering both inpatient and outpatient services
- Required procedures:
- Fetal monitoring
- Low Risk Pregnancy History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis
- FHR Interpretation NST/CST/FSE
- OB ultrasounds Performance of and Interpretation
- Routine Delivery Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section
- Complicated Delivery C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, VBACs, Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations
- Office/Minor Gynecology IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, Cryosurgery, LEEP; Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor-Tubal Ligation, LOAs, Chromal Tubation
- Operative/Major (Includes Diagnostic) Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOAs - State of the art birthing center featuring:
- 16 LDRP rooms
- Level II Nursery
- Dedicated surgical suite
- Outpatient office is on campus, a short walk from LDRP, with experienced staff
- Rotating call 1:4
- Partnership with local FQHC for safety net care to women in the community
- Medically underserved community
- Total Number of Beds: 15
- Number of Exam Rooms: 2 plus procedure room

- Onsite Ultrasound? Yes
- Average Number of Scheduled Patients Per Day: per physician's comfort
- Number of Physicians in Practice: goal of 3
- How Many APPs Provide Coverage: future state will be 2, have one now
- Support Staff: seasoned RNs and support staff in both clinic and hospital
- What Percentage of Practice is Low-Risk Pregnancy: 40-50%
- What Percentage of Practice is High-Risk Pregnancy: 50-60%
- What Percentage of Patients are C-Section: 30%
- What Percentage of Practice is GYN: up to the physician
- Average Number of GYN Surgeries Per Day: up to the physician
- Average Number of Nursery Admissions Per Day: 0-3
- Nursery Level - Trauma II
- Documentation System/EMR: Cerner, will convert to Epic in 2025
- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 30-90 days
- Can support J1 & H1B visa candidates
- Open to new graduate applicants who are Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) but MUST have plans to test and be Board Certified prior to start
- Not accepting Locums candidates
