The Supply Chain Director, Americas will oversee and manage the organization’s end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring effective and efficient warehousing, logistics, procurement, production scheduling, and inventory management for operations in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in supply chain optimization, driving operational excellence, and supporting the organization’s growth objectives. The incumbent will work closely with various departments and lead a high-performance team to continuously improve operational and cost performance while delivering a superior customer experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience:
- 10-15 years’ experience in Operations and Supply Chain management.
- Experience in manufacturing, sourcing, procurement, S&OP planning, inventory management, ERP systems (ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365), warehouse management systems, and industrial engineering methods.
- Experience with 3PL partnerships, ISO 9001 certified facilities, Continuous Improvement, TQM, Lean tools, project management, and capital expense management.
- Knowledge in hazardous materials shipments and warehousing requirements.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent, required.
- Lean Six Sigma, MRP II, ERP training, APICS certification, ASQ, and ISO 9001 training a plus.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure production planning and logistics deliver products at the expected quality and service levels.
- Direct and coordinate all USA/MEX/CAN distribution centers and 3PL operations.
- Create development plans for direct reports, manage performance, set goals, coach, and motivate employees.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, OSHA regulations, and all regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement capital budgets focused on cost reduction, safety, and quality.
- Lead the S&OP process through collaboration with sales, manufacturing, marketing, and finance.
- Identify systems and tools needed for planning/forecasting systems and lead reengineering efforts.
- Develop production forecasts to meet customer and business requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage operational and supply chain KPIs.
- Partner with R&D and Marketing to refine forecasts for new product launches and sales pipelines.
- Develop short and long-term strategies for manufacturing, purchasing, logistics, transportation, and warehouse.
- Negotiate supplier and transportation carrier contracts as needed.
- Minimize inventory and obsolescence, maximize inventory turns and accuracy, and ensure material availability.
- Lead department meetings for regular business updates, safety, quality, cost, and customer service performance.
- Create and maintain employee training, performance management, and talent management programs.
- Maximize productivity by identifying waste and implementing improvements using Lean TQM concepts.
- Foster the use of ERP to manage business operations accurately and timely.
