Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Assistant/Paralegal in the firm's Dallas, Texas office. The role involves supporting attorneys in drafting of pleadings and documents, organizing case files, flings, discovery, assisting with client communication, and assistance with office management.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in legal pleadings and discovery in both state and federal courts
- Self-starter who is motivated to seek and work independently with oversight
- Knowledge of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and familiarity with both Texas and Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience with legal software and case management systems
