An international freight forwarding company is looking to hire an Air & Ocean Import/Export Coordinator in the DFW area of Grapevine, TX. The ideal candidate has international freight forwarding (air & ocean import/export) experience and is able to ensure effective customer service, accurate shipment processing, and timely deliveries.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of customer contact for the assigned account(s)
• Follow SOPs for each customer on the correct method and data required for preparing an entry
• Coordinate timely shipments at optimal cost to customers' satisfaction
• Address customer concerns, troubleshoot errors, provide timely feedback on service failures, and follow up on escalations
• Coordinate with overseas and domestic offices, agents, customers, and vendors
• Submit customs entries for clearance of in-bound cargo through US Customs and facilitate the delivery of freight to customers
• Proactively provide shipment status and notify customers of any delays regarding arrival, delivery, or dispatch of shipments

Requirements:

• High school diploma & 3 years' experience in air and ocean import/export OR Bachelor's degree in related field (Supply Chain, Logistics, etc.)
• Japanese language abilities preferred
• Spanish language abilities a plus
• MS Word, Excel, Outlook experience
• Must be able to effectively & clearly communicate verbally and in written form across all levels of the organization
