On behalf of our printing equipment manufacturing client, Robert Half is looking for a Process Improvement Engineer to join our client on a contract to full time basis.
Requirements:
- Analytical – using Excel, Google Sheets – something to make data driven decisions
- Engineering degree and printing equipment industry background
- Project Management experience
- Process improvement experience with Six Sigma or Kaizen
This person should have at least 3 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis : Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and other data platforms to identify trends, measure performance, and support strategic decision-making.
- Project Management : Lead and manage cross-functional projects to enhance operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and ensure timely project delivery.
- Process Improvement : Utilize Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies to identify inefficiencies, implement process enhancements, and drive cost reductions.
- Technical Expertise : Apply engineering principles and industry knowledge to support equipment optimization, troubleshooting, and performance enhancement in the printing equipment environment.
- Reporting & Dashboards : Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to track operational performance and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaboration : Work closely with engineering, operations, and leadership teams to align projects with organizational goals and ensure smooth execution.
- Documentation : Create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials for improved operational consistency.
The role is onsite here in Memphis.
