Based in Dallas, Texas, they are seeking a skilled Architectural Designer to join their growing team and help shape the future of data centre architecture.
Role Overview:
As an Architectural Designer , you will play a critical role in supporting the design and documentation of data centres and related industrial projects. Working closely with the team, you will leverage your expertise in Revit to create detailed and accurate design models, drawings, and project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate 3D models and construction drawings in Revit for data centre projects.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure design intent is accurately represented in all documentation.
- Assist in preparing technical drawings, schedules, and specifications for construction and permitting.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers, to integrate design elements.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and client standards.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input to optimise layouts and systems.
- Manage revisions to designs and documentation based on client or project requirements.
- Support the creation of visualisations, renderings, and presentation materials as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Revit with a proven track record of producing high-quality design documentation.
- 1-5+ years of experience in architectural design, preferably within data centres, industrial, or healthcare .
- Strong understanding of building systems and construction processes.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in industrial or healthcare projects.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in design work.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in Architecture, Design, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on mission-critical facilities.
- Knowledge of BIM coordination processes and tools.
- Familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, or other complementary design software.
