Main Function

• Improve the reliability of process controls and instrumentation systems.
• Drive continuous improvement for instrumentation and control systems.
• Ensure consistency in instrumentation and control practices across multiple locations.
• Address and resolve issues related to instrumentation and control systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the development and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems.
• Standardize instrumentation and control processes to align with corporate expectations and maintain consistency across all locations.
• Create installation drawings, data sheets, and specifications for instrumentation in compliance with industry and safety standards.
• Develop technical evaluations to support the selection of instrumentation and control systems.
• Support the technical development and revision of project P&IDs.
• Assist in preparing schedules and resource plans for instrumentation and electrical (I&E) projects.
• Provide guidance for the procurement of instrumentation and related equipment.
• Oversee the conversion of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) from PROVOX to DeltaV, as well as other software upgrades.

Education and Experience

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an instrumentation and electrical technician or a similar role in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Fisher-Rosemount’s DeltaV Distributed Control Systems.
