Seeking an experienced Linux-focused Software Engineer to develop custom embedded touch controls for industrial and commercial devices. Ideal candidates will have expertise in device driver development, user space applications, and performance measurement. Knowledge of ARM processors, UI development, and embedded systems is a plus.
We’re looking for a self-driven engineer passionate about cutting-edge technology, IoT device creation, and a deep understanding of software and hardware systems.
Key Responsibilities:
– Write code in C that works with hardware drivers and other software APIs.
-Understand program requirements and create elegant, well-documented code based on high-level design specifications.
– Reproduce and isolate bugs and implement fixes.
– Integrate, develop, debug, and measure Linux hardware drivers.
– Design solutions by integrating new or existing software.
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics or related
– At least three years writing software for Linux systems in a business environment
– Knowledge of Qt or Crank is a big plus
