Production Scheduler (Plastic Injection Molding)

Purpose & Scope:

We are seeking an experienced Production Scheduler to join our team and take charge of planning and optimizing a detailed production schedule that aligns customer demands with inventory levels and production capacity. This role is essential to ensuring smooth, efficient operations across our plastic injection molding machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule 10+ plastic injection molding machines, minimizing downtime and maximizing machine utilization.
• Collaborate with various departments to allocate necessary resources, materials, equipment, and personnel for seamless production.
• Proactively identify and address potential issues or shortages that could disrupt production.
• Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring adequate supply for scheduled runs.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize downtime.
• Ensure timely delivery of customer orders and communicate any potential delays in advance.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in production scheduling for plastic injection molding.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with IQMS or similar ERP systems.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
