Our client in Pendergrass, Georgia has an immediate need for a Human Resource Manager on a direct hire basis.

Human Resource Manager Role:
The Human Resource Manager will develop and implement policies, procedures, and recruitment practices. The Human Resource Manager will also be responsible for both transactional tasks and higher-level strategic initiatives, including the creation and administration of various human resource programs.
Drive initiatives to improve employee engagement, productivity, and retention.
Guide the development of managers and supervisors in areas such as employment law, performance management, and professional growth.
Support supervisors with employee performance, development, and disciplinary matters and oversee the full-cycle recruiting process for two locations.
Lead workplace investigations and keep management informed of any potential unlawful claims or ongoing investigations. They will represent the company in unemployment claims, EEOC investigations, and other agency inquiries.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations is a key responsibility, with expertise required in FMLA, ADA, ADEA, Title VII, ERISA, HIPAA, and COBRA.
Assist managers with the investigation and reporting of workplace injuries and incidents, collaborating with the Director of Manufacturing and the corporate Safety Manager to manage such matters.
Maintain OSHA documentation as required.
The role will include managing benefit claims in partnership with external administrators and requires strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and manage complex tasks.
Ongoing professional development, including maintaining HR certification, is expected.
Human Resource Manager Background Profile:
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Minimum 4 years’ experience in Human Resources
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Paycom experience a plus
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, coaching and influencing skills with all levels of employees and leaders.
Excellent analysis and critical thinking skills; ability to think conceptually and strategically while delivering a creative, speedy and results driven approach.
