Position : Quality Manager
Type of Plant : Combined Cycle/Gas Turbine Power Plant
Work Schedule : 40 hr/week Mon-Fri
Pay Rate : TBD (Experience Based)

Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure that quality processes are fully implemented.
- Perform site visit and spot quality control checks on the work in progress.
- Assure the Site Quality documentation structure is set up and compliant to the contract (e.g. Site ITPs, Site ITPLs, Site Quality Plan)
- Lead all quality actions on site.
- Represent GE Quality on site to the customer, authorities, and any other external party.
- Lead compliance actions on site and align required inspections and approvals.
- Plan and lead site inspections.
- Manage site documentation and assure on time delivery in good quality.
- Lead Site Quality audits.
- Set up an efficient quality team on site (Site Quality Engineer, Welding inspector)
- Provide quality assurance induction training to the site personnel.
- With the assistance of third party or internal qualified Welding Supervisor, fully deploy welding processes and requirements.
- Ensure that inspections / tests quality records are continuously compiled as per the work progress, by the Subcontractors / Partner and the involved GE site team and monitor proper loading in the archiving database.
Required Qualifications
- This role requires significant knowledge in the Quality Assurance & Control on the construction site.
- Good technical knowledge of Gas Power Plants business and products.
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in a similar role, preferable within power industry.
- Knowledge level is comparable to a master’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
