Project Manager Job Description
Experience & Location
- Requires 5+ years of project management experience.
- Based in Raleigh, NC, or Orlando, FL, with a hybrid schedule (2-3 days in office weekly).
Travel
- Minimal travel: typically one trip per year to a manufacturing facility.
Role Overview
- Manage up to 100-200 small-scale transformer projects simultaneously, focusing on logistics, client coordination, and post-delivery responsibilities.
- Oversee project execution from production (primarily outside the U.S.) through delivery and warranty management.
- Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring project timelines, budgets, and customer satisfaction are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project schedules, plans, budgets, and risk registers.
- Coordinate with global manufacturing facilities, subcontractors, and field resources to meet project specifications and timelines.
- Handle client communications, change orders, and warranty-related concerns to maintain satisfaction and profitability.
Requirements
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage high project volumes.
- Experience in project execution, scheduling, and coordination with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
- Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
- IPMA certification or equivalent is a plus; certification will eventually be required.
- Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant experience.
This position is purely project management-focused and does not require an engineering background.
