Project Manager Job Description

Experience & Location

• Requires 5+ years of project management experience.
• Based in Raleigh, NC, or Orlando, FL, with a hybrid schedule (2-3 days in office weekly).

Travel

• Minimal travel: typically one trip per year to a manufacturing facility.

Role Overview

• Manage up to 100-200 small-scale transformer projects simultaneously, focusing on logistics, client coordination, and post-delivery responsibilities.
• Oversee project execution from production (primarily outside the U.S.) through delivery and warranty management.
• Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring project timelines, budgets, and customer satisfaction are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules, plans, budgets, and risk registers.
• Coordinate with global manufacturing facilities, subcontractors, and field resources to meet project specifications and timelines.
• Handle client communications, change orders, and warranty-related concerns to maintain satisfaction and profitability.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage high project volumes.
• Experience in project execution, scheduling, and coordination with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
• Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
• IPMA certification or equivalent is a plus; certification will eventually be required.
• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant experience.
