Our client, a real estate management firm, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the operations, maintenance, and tenant relationships of their industrial property in Central MA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the property is operating efficiently, maintaining tenant satisfaction, and maximizing property value while adhering to company policies and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of industrial property, including maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to maintain property standards and negotiate service agreements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing concerns, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring lease compliance.
- Conduct regular property inspections and follow up on tenant issues to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Keep the property grounds, equipment rooms and common areas clean, organized and safe.
- Develop and manage property budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure profitability.
- Identify opportunities to enhance property value, such as tenant improvements or operational efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in property management, preferably within industrial or commercial real estate.
- Strong knowledge of lease administration and property operations.
- Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
