Summary: Responsible for meeting or exceeding the monthly and annual sales goals set forth for the assigned territory through the sales of Silhouette eyewear to designated Eye Care Professionals. Follow the Silhouette business model of growing the brand through full portfolio penetration, product re-order and creating a premium experience at the point of sale.

Candidates with frame sales, lens sales, and/or inside optical experience are highly desired. Those with related industry outside sales experience should apply. Silhouette-specific training is available.
This territory covers the greater Miami area, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. Qualified candidates will be bi-lingual in English/Spanish.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Establish and maintain profitable relationships with existing customer base and establish new customers. Build relationships with practice frame buyers and key decision makers.
- Act as a “trusted advisor” by educating the customer on the technical and aesthetic advantages of Silhouette eyewear.
- Establish and maintain a regular routing plan and call schedule, prepare and submit status reports and store checks, with 100% of all accounts visited within 8-12 weeks.
- Create sales plans by customer, forecasting unit sales by week and month.
- Communicate and implement Company Marketing initiatives.
- Merchandise and inventory at every sales call, ensure frame samples and trays are clean and presentable.
- Install wall mounted displays, window clings and custom towers as needed within your accounts to appropriately showcase Silhouette products.
- Identify and open new accounts in designated territory.
- Maintain product and technical knowledge by participating in Silhouette e-learning opportunities.
- Attend Regional and National Sales Meetings and participate in region conference calls.
- Maintain professional demeanor, attitude and appearance at all times when interacting with customers, maintain the Silhouette core value of integrity with every interaction.
- Read and stay informed on all company communications.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing is preferred, will accept equivalent work experience with demonstrated results.
Experience: At least two years’ experience in outside territory sales, preferably within the optical industry. Experience as licensed optician with excellent customer service and business acumen will be strongly considered. Lens knowledge a plus.
Physical Demands: Must be able to drive five days per week to designated accounts within territory. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Occasional use of footstool and basic tools for installations within accounts.
