What will your day look like?
- EHS Program Management: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and other relevant agencies.
- Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to reduce workplace hazards and ensure employee safety.
- Training & Development: Lead training programs to promote awareness and adherence to safety and environmental practices.
- Incident Management: Oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Collaborate with leadership to drive sustainability efforts and reduce the company’s environmental footprint.
- Metrics & Reporting: Track and report EHS performance metrics to leadership, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes.
Who are you?
- EHS Expert: 5+ years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant EHS regulations and standards.
- Proactive Leader: Demonstrated ability to lead change, influence culture, and engage employees at all levels in safety practices.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills and familiarity with EHS management systems and reporting tools.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field. Certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM are highly desirable.
- Problem-Solver: Adept at identifying risks and implementing effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Communicator: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
