Overview:
We are a leading Hedge Fund in New York City seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and highly organized Executive Assistant to support our Investment Team. This role requires a strong background in asset management, with a preference for candidates who have experience in corporate access or public market exposure . The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Investment Team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating complex travel arrangements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, portfolio managers, and senior executives.
- Assist with the preparation and organization of materials for meetings, presentations, and investment-related reports.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Coordinate and manage investor relations, including scheduling and logistics for corporate access events (e.g., conferences, roadshows, earnings calls).
- Organize and maintain investment team data and documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Support the broader team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar Executive Assistant role, preferably within asset management or finance.
- Strong understanding of the asset management space, with corporate access or public market experience highly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage complex schedules, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with high-level executives.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); familiarity with investment and CRM platforms a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality and discretion.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is a plus.
