Job Summary/ Essential Job Functions:
The EHS Unit in Healthy Homes needs assistance in managing and developing the EHS program to focus on training and compliance for EHS (Lead, Asbestos and Mold….) in accordance with HUD Agreement, Baez Suit, Federal Monitor and Department of Investigation recommendations and requirements. In support of EHS goals of Healthy Homes to provide a safe and environmentally compliant and sustainable workplace and living conditions in line with client mission and core values.

The Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) unit in the Healthy Homes division is looking for a Management Analyst to assist in the development and management of data systems and programs for EHS training, compliance initiatives and development of the EHS Program.
Job Description:
Actively utilize enterprise-wide systems and computer-based programs for tracking training and EHS compliance.
Coordinate with other units in Healthy and Homes and with other client departments on training and compliance and communicate Healthy Homes efforts at meeting its compliance obligations and management system initiatives.
Work collaboratively with the Learning and Development Department on including EHS training conducted in Healthy Homes into the Learning, Management System.
Coordinate the tracking, resolution, and closeout of EHS findings and manage as a leading EHS Performance indicator.
Assist in developing EHS performance metrics reports of leading and lagging indicators, identifying performance trends, developing data driven analysis, and creating procedures to support EHS goals.
Representing business case needs and managing computer-based systems for ensuring entry tracking and closeouts of EHS findings.
Perform special project tasks, ad-hoc analyses, and prepare relevant reports and presentations as assigned.
Assist other units within Healthy Homes pertaining to EHS, compliance and quality issues as requested.
Assist in production of training materials and align content, training, and quality efforts.
Assist in managing training tracking, compliance and EHS issues by updating, improving, and creating communication materials for internal staff and vendors including frequently asked questions.
Participate in ongoing training activities to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to support new initiatives.
Responsibilities for Management Analyst:
Collect and organize information about the problem to be solved or the procedure to be improved.
Examine existing data, including training records, EHS findings, metrics, policies, and procedures.
Communicate with Healthy Homes staff to determine the training, equipment, and PPE that will be needed.
Gather and manage data with the goal of ensuring compliance for training certifications and EHS findings needing compliance action plans.
Manage and support development of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.
Effectively communicate with personnel to gather and provide information on training, EHS programs and initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:
Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in data management, communications or program development in an area related to the duties described above.
High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in data management, communication or program development area related to the duties as described above.
Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above.
Preferred Skills:
Highly proficient with using MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Smartsheet, SharePoint and Teams.
Basic knowledge of Federal EPA, OSHA NYS DEC and city related environmental and safety regulations.
Experience in data management, training tracking and compliance.
Strong communication and writing skills.
Experience in preparing and presenting technical material to staff.
Ability to work independently, requiring minimal day-to-day direction or oversight.
Experience in creating spreadsheets, tracking documents, presentations, and procedures
