Required Skills:

• 9+ yrs of Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on AWS, OpenSearch, Python, and digital application development. 
• Strong understanding of architectural standards / foundation and software development methodologies. Familiarity with modeling techniques.
• Strong track record of designing and implementing large-scale, distributed systems
• Advanced expertise in AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation). 
• Hands-on experience with OpenSearch (or Elasticsearch) for indexing and search functionality. 
• Proficiency in Python for backend development and scripting. 
• Strong understanding of web and mobile application development. 
• Exceptional understanding of Technology systems including system design, API design, database, programming concepts, integration patterns.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). 
• Database management and optimization (SQL and NoSQL).

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Certifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional certifications are preferred. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive architecture solutions focused on cloud-native services, search technologies, and application development. 
• Create system designs that integrate AWS services, OpenSearch, and other technologies to optimize performance and scalability. 
• Collaborate with business leaders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-centric digital applications. 
• Champion the use of modern technologies such as AWS, OpenSearch, and Python to drive digital transformation initiatives. 
• Establish and enforce technical standards and best practices for solution development and deployment. 
• Design, configure, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure to support digital applications and data-driven systems. 
• Lead the implementation and customization of OpenSearch for real-time data indexing and search functionality. 
• Develop and oversee Python-based application frameworks and backend services. 
• Define and manage integration strategies for APIs, microservices, and other interfaces to ensure seamless data exchange. 
• Optimize existing systems and processes to align with new digital application needs. 
• Ensure that all solutions adhere to security best practices, compliance standards, and organizational policies. 
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with technical implementations.
• Maintain detailed documentation of architecture designs, processes, and configurations. 
• Provide clear and concise updates to stakeholders regarding project progress and technical solutions.
