Position Description:

We are seeking a GIS Fiber Technician to join our team.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage data in various GIS systems (e.g., ArcOnline, ArcGIS Desktop, 3-GIS WEB).
• Use survey reports, maps, drawings, and aerial photography for FTTx project design.
• Communicate lessons learned to the Engineering Manager and project team.
• Complete assignments accurately and on time, taking direction and working collaboratively with the team.
• Ensure data accuracy and quality, and adhere to schedules.
• Submit accurate timesheets for payroll.
• Demonstrate professionalism and teamwork.
• Enter data efficiently and convert old data formats to digital.
• Perform installation, replacement, and removal of fiber optic patch cables.
• Troubleshoot, test, and clean fiber optic cables and terminations.

Education and Experience:

• Relevant experience in GIS systems and fiber optics.
• Ability to handle data entry and conversion tasks effectively.
• Experience with fiber optic cable installation and maintenance preferred.
