As one of the global networks of KDB, the KDB New York Branch is a leading provider of financial services to multi-national corporations. The New York Branch provides corporate banking solutions such as loans, trade finance and structured products to our clients based on comprehensive understanding of the broad and complex financial issues that our clients face.


?Tasks Performed on the Job:

 

  • Conduct thorough credit analysis on borrowers/guarantors and corporate bond issuers, and prepare credit analysis reports on new and existing transactions.

 

  • Build financial models for credit analysis and produce annual reviews of credit facilities, corporate bonds, and vendors.

 

  • Research industry and macroeconomic trends and leverage market intelligence to identify risk factors that could potentially impact the loan and bond portfolio.

 

  • Prepare Credit Committee minutes following Credit Committee meetings to keep records for auditors and independent loan reviewers.

 

  • Produce Quarterly Loan Portfolio Analysis Report and Loan Loss Reserve Report.

 

 

Knowledge and Skills used on the Job:

 

  • Strong fundamental corporate credit risk and financial modeling skills.

 

  • Knowledge and interests in macroeconomics, financial markets and Korean business environment.

 

  • Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to effectively communicate and relay ideas and recommendations.

 

  • Highly collaborative, with a track record of exceeding expectations in a collaborative and collegial environment.

 

  • Highly proficient in MS Suite; strong Excel modeling skills is a must.

 

 

Relevant Training and Work Experience:

 

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting or other related fields.

 

  • At least 3 years of experiences in a similar role or in related fields:
  • Banking and/or Investments, with preferred work experience in credit/financial analysis

 

  • Fluency in Korean (verbal and written) is a plus 


Salary: USD $100,000 ~ USD $120,000
