About the Role
Martin & Zerfoss, Inc. is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager for a full-time role in Nashville, TN. Note: this is a non-sales role. The position has a hybrid work arrangement, with 2 days in-office and 3 days WFH after the initial in-person training period. In this role, the Personal Lines Account Manager will:
- Manage Personal Lines client accounts with the focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Support Producers in day-to-day servicing of client accounts, including direct contact with clients and insurance carriers via phone, email and in-person when applicable.
- Prepare and process binders of insurance, policies, endorsements, and cancellations.
- Analyze coverage, limits, deductibles, and pricing options.
- Develop strong relationships and trust with clients, producers, teammates and underwriters.
- Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of personal lines coverage.
- Utilize Applied Epic to manage and track all work.
- Follow agency and department workflows and procedures to complete daily tasks.

About you
- High level of personal lines insurance knowledge in both middle market and high net worth
- Tennessee P&C Insurance License
- Experience using an insurance management platform; Applied Epic highly preferred
- Able to reliably commute to our West Nashville office two days a week after the initial training period
- Exemplary organization, time management and prioritization skills with a focus on timeliness and completeness when interacting with clients, agency and company personnel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management or other related field desired, but not required
- Insurance designations are a plus
- High degree of professionalism along with excellent business writing and communication skills.
- Team player that contributes to a positive work culture
Perks
Salary range between $55,000 - $75,000/ year commensurate with experience
