About the Role

Martin & Zerfoss, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager for a full-time role in Nashville, TN. The position has a hybrid work arrangement, with 2 days in-office and 3 days WFH after the initial in-person training period. In this role, the Commercial Lines Account Manager will:

  • Manage Commercial Lines client accounts with the focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Support Producers in day-to-day servicing of client accounts, including direct contact with clients and insurance carriers.
  • Analyze new and renewal policies and coverages, take client phone calls, process agency bill transactions, quote and present new lines of coverage to round out accounts, and remarket existing lines of coverage.
  • Develop strong relationships and trust with clients, producers, underwriters, carriers, and teammates.
  • Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverage.
  • Utilize Applied Epic to manage and track all work.
  • Follow agency and department workflows and procedures to complete daily tasks.

About you

  • High level of commercial insurance knowledge
  • Tennessee Insurance License
  • Experience using an insurance management platform desirable but not required
  • Able to reliably commute to our West Nashville office two days a week after the initial training period
  • Exemplary organization, time management and prioritization skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management or other related field desired, but not required
  • Insurance designations are a plus
  • High degree of professionalism along with excellent business writing and communication skills
  • Team player that contributes to a positive work culture


Perks

Salary range between $60,000 - $85,000 commensurate with experience
