Manager, Government Pricing
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Manager, Government Pricing serves as a technical point of contact for government programs in respect to the revenue management system and with the applicable government agencies. The Manager is responsible for the continued maintenance of pricing methodologies and standard operating procedures.
ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE
The Manager, Government Pricing reports to the Associate Director, Managed Care and Government Compliance and is based in the Morristown, NJ office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibilities of this role include the following:
• Monthly, quarterly and annual calculations of government pricing and rebates (AMP, Best Price, ASP, NFAMP, PHS, IFF, Tricare, FCP, IRA Part D/Coverage Gap)
• Maintain government pricing methodologies, standard operating procedures and reasonable assumptions as they pertain to government programs and pricing to reflect current federal statutes and regulations
• Perform trend analytics and comparisons to benchmark to support calculations
• Prepare analytics for Senior Management, in regard to, price increases, product/contract negotiations and changes in legislation which could significantly impact revenue
• Perform reconciliation between SAP and iContracts
• Involved in the tracking and submission of State Transparency requirements and reports
• Work with outside system vendor applications team to implement needed system configuration changes and enhancements
• Various special projects that may be assigned or individually developed out of the need for government compliance, process improvement, increased operational efficiency or training needs as
they may arise.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of government rebate and pricing experience
• Bachelors Degree preferred
• Strong analytical skills including an acute attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and respond to a high volume of work in a deadline intense environment.
• A self-starter, able to work independently and manage one’s own
time.
• Interest in government programs and policy with a focus on compliance.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Willingness and capability to tackle analytical assignments, exercising discretion in reviewing prior to making recommendations.
• High level of proficiency with the Microsoft office suite including
Microsoft Excel.
