Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Leader to oversee sales operations in the Education (K-12 and Higher Education) and Healthcare verticals. This leadership role emphasizes fostering client relationships, driving revenue growth, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will strategize, execute business plans, and mentor a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Development & Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales professionals to build a high-performing team with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to evaluate performance, provide feedback, and address challenges.
  • Develop skills enhancement plans and promote ongoing training for the team.

2. Relationship Building

  • Cultivate strong connections with internal teams (design, order fulfillment, project management) and external stakeholders in education and healthcare sectors.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Represent the company at networking events, sales meetings, and industry gatherings.

3. Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Create and implement sales strategies to address client needs using a consultative approach.
  • Analyze competitors and market trends to differentiate product offerings and secure long-term client partnerships.
  • Identify innovative opportunities to enhance product and service offerings.

4. Communication & Feedback

  • Provide clear direction on sales goals and strategies, ensuring alignment with team members.
  • Actively listen to diverse perspectives and foster open communication.
  • Deliver constructive feedback to support professional growth within the team.

5. Performance & Results Management

  • Achieve and exceed revenue, profitability, and sales funnel targets on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including cross-selling, client satisfaction scores, and survey response rates.
  • Ensure effective contract negotiations and the successful closing of high-value deals.


Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (required).
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in office furniture, commercial interiors, or related industries.
  • Proven expertise in sales strategy, target marketing, and working with general contractors, real estate, and design firms.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and people management skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation and closing capabilities with experience managing large-scale deals.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
