Position Overview:
The Vice President of Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing purchasing, customer service, and planning functions, driving operational excellence across the supply chain. Leading a growing team, the VP will develop and execute strategies to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and support the organization’s rapid growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support business goals, focusing on scalability and efficiency.
- Manage purchasing, customer service, and planning teams to ensure seamless operations and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Oversee ongoing SAP migration efforts, leveraging expertise to ensure a smooth transition and maximize system capabilities.
- Address and creatively solve operational challenges, including resource constraints, warehouse staffing shortages, and physical infrastructure limitations.
- Design and optimize workflows for inventory movement across multiple warehouse locations, with a focus on scalability as the organization expands.
- Collaborate with leadership to drive improvements in logistics, warehousing, and customer satisfaction.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in supply chain management, with a strong background in food manufacturing.
- Proven success in managing supply chains for fast-growing companies, navigating the complexities of scaling operations.
- Hands-on experience with SAP systems, including leading migrations or system evolutions.
- Track record of overcoming operational challenges such as resource shortages, warehouse management, and logistical constraints.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and implement creative solutions to optimize supply chain processes.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
