Director of Operations

Reports to CEO

This is a unique opportunity for an analytics-driven operations leader. This role begins with direct oversight of warehouse and logistics and for the right candidate, evolves into the COO position upon successful operational transformation and team development.

Responsibilities include:

·      Optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations

·      Establishes quantitative and qualitative metrics and standards to maximize efficiency and productivity

·      Conducts analyses of data and processes to improve operational outcomes

• Uses data to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives

·      Achieve cost savings by leading deep-dive analyses of freight operations and costs

·      Assess and optimize warehouse management practices

·      Leverage technology including the Odoo ERP system

·      Leads coordination and integration of efforts between operations, sales, and finance resulting in improved workflow and cost-effective business processes.

Required Experience & Skills

·      10+ years experience leading warehouse and logistics functions

·      Highly skilled at mentoring and coaching team members

·      Hands-on experience negotiating freight contracts

·      Advanced proficiency in ERP systems

·      Strong background in data analytics and visualization

·      Skilled in operational metrics and KPIs

·      Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights

·      Experience implementing automation solutions

·      Proven track record of optimizing resources through data-driven decision-making

Education/Certification

·      MBA with focus on operations/supply chain

·      Six Sigma or similar certification

·      Background in restaurant/hospitality industry a plus

The position is located in St. Petersburg, Florida and requires travel to our warehouses in Texas and Virginia. This position requires attendance in the office daily – remote work is not available.
