Process Control Analyst – Cornelia, GA
Position Overview:
The Process Control Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data to support decision-making processes for manufacturing operations. This role also includes project coordination, performing administrative tasks to assist the management group, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis:
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
- Utilize statistical tools and software to perform data analysis and generate actionable insights.
- Present findings and recommendations to management to support strategic planning and operational improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and ensure reporting accuracy.
- Support the implementation of new technologies and systems to enhance data collection and analysis capabilities.
- Maintain and update databases, ensuring data integrity and completeness
- Assists with Engineering Change Notice (ECN) projects and Product Improvement Projects in reference to data collection and data analysis.
Project Management and Administrative Support:
- Assist the management group with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, priorities list and managing correspondence.
- Coordinate and manage communication between different departments and external stakeholders.
- Manage and organize electronic and physical files to ensure timely access to information.
- Support project tracking, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Handle administrative tasks such as travel arrangements, expense reports, and office supplies management.
- Other tasks as directed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, administrative support, or a related role. Experience in manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Minitab, SQL or Python.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Dynamics) or manufacturing-related software is an advantage.
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), or equivalent continuous improvement methodologies.
Working Conditions:
- Office environment with occasional visits to manufacturing sites.
- Requires travel for meetings and training sessions 25-50% of the time.
- Flexible working hours may be needed to meet project deadlines and support management activities.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to noise, heat, and heavy machinery.
