Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Structural Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and implementation of cutting-edge structural and civil engineering solutions for specialized facilities supporting military and space systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural and civil design, analysis, and evaluations for high-hazard and technically complex facilities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet project specifications, safety standards, and operational requirements.
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and constructability reviews to support facility upgrades, new construction, and modifications.
• Develop detailed construction drawings, specifications, and reports using advanced design software.
• Provide technical support during the construction phase, including reviewing submittals, conducting inspections, and resolving engineering challenges.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and standards, including military and aerospace specifications.
• Lead or support project management efforts, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Prepare technical documentation, presentations, and reports for project stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within six months of hire.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil/structural engineering, with a focus on high-hazard or technically advanced facilities preferred.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., STAAD, SAP2000, AutoCAD, or similar tools).
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASCE, ACI, AISC, IBC).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and a fast-paced project environment.
• Familiarity with military or aerospace facility requirements is a plus.
