Process Engineer Job Description:

PrideStaff is confidentially recruiting for a leader in the oil and gas industry who is in search of a Process Engineer to join their team. As a Process Engineer, you will improve industrial processes, help reduce costs, maintain efficiency and process designs for operation and implementation. The ideal Process Engineer demonstrates exceptional knowledge of processes, interpreting data to increase efficiency and has solid knowledge of CAD or AutoCad and related computer programs. The Process Engineer will occasionally travel internationally for business. The Process Engineer is a full time, direct hire position located in Southeast Houston, TX.

Process Engineer Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work to Improve Systems Processes Through Assessing Processes, Interpreting Data & Taking Measurements
• Improve Production & Industrial Processes Implementing Best Practices, Routines, & Innovative Solutions
• Perform Process & Risk Simulations to Improve Efficiency, Productivity & Increased Profit
• Develop Designs & Documentation For Arrangement Drawings, Process Flow Diagrams, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams in Detail With Pipes, Valves, Tanks, Equipment & Materials Used
• Utilize CAD 2D & 3D For Models & Documentation
• Perform Mechanical & Structural Design Documentation Including Electrical & Equipment & Materials
• Assist With Additional Engineering Needs as Required

Process Engineer Requirements & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• BA/BS in Engineering, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Preferred
• 2+ Years of Process Engineering Experience Required
• Must be Detailed, Organized, & Excellent Multi Tasking Skills
• Demonstrates Excellent Written & Verbal Communication
• Exceptional Experience With CAD & or AutoCad, MS Word, Outlook & Excel
• Solid Understanding of Process Standards & Process Simulations Including Health & Safety Regulations
