Position: Aircraft Maintenance Technician
Location: Hyaniss, MA 02601
Salary: $27–$30/Hour w/ Relocation Package!
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated A&P Mechanic to join our team in Hyaniss, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to a dynamic organization while advancing their career in aircraft maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with 14 CFR (as applicable), manufacturer’s specifications, company policies and procedures, and FAA-approved methods during maintenance tasks.
- Maintain familiarity with company manuals and recommend updates to improve operational effectiveness.
- Complete shift turnover reports in accordance with company procedures.
- Participate in shift meetings and briefings as required.
- Update aircraft fleet status information as directed.
- Provide on-the-job training as assigned by the Base Manager or Supervisor.
- Accurately document maintenance work records.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the maintenance work area.
- Follow material handling and control procedures as specified by company manuals and equipment manufacturers.
- Open and close the facility as required.
- Perform aircraft run-ups, taxis, and road trips to repair aircraft at off-site locations.
- Clean aircraft after completing maintenance tasks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Current A&P certificate required.
- Must meet recent experience requirements as stated in 14 CFR 65.83.
- Minimum of two years of professional aircraft maintenance experience preferred.
- Basic mechanical skills and a personal set of aircraft maintenance tools are required.
- Strong ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in team settings as well as independently.
- Detail-oriented and goal-driven.
- Physically capable of lifting 40 lbs. and performing tasks involving bending, stooping, kneeling, and working overhead for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
