Job Title: Senior Electrician

Pay Rate: $75,000 - $110,000/Year (Depending on experience)


Job Description:


PrideNow is seeking a skilled Senior Electrician to join our client in Danbury, CT. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting production instrumentation, electrical wiring, and control equipment. This position requires a high level of autonomy and expertise in working with complex electrical and control systems.


Responsibilities:

  • Test, repair, maintain, and modify existing and new equipment including electronic, vacuum, mechanical, and chemical apparatus.
  • Design, select, build, and program control equipment for specific project requirements or process improvements.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex electrical and control systems such as ATS, PLC’s, Communication Networks, Motor Starters, VFD’s, etc.
  • Maintain an inventory of parts and supplies, ordering materials as needed.
  • Develop prototypes for project requirements and process improvements.
  • Install factory wiring in classified and general duty areas.
  • Operate machine tools to fabricate parts when necessary.
  • Attend engineering meetings for updates, priority lists, and future equipment planning/installations.


Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or GED; at least 10 years of directly related experience.
  • E2 electrical license is strongly desirable.
  • Technical certification in Instrumentation and/or Controls Systems is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of consensus codes such as NEC500, NFPA70, and ability to apply them to evaluate systems and designs.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematic drawings for PLC’s and power distribution.
  • Familiarity with Lock Out/Tagout procedures and Hot Work safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
