We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant in the Glastonbury, CT area to work at a Multi-Specialty office in the area. You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments. We are looking for candidates available on on a temporary to permanent basis.

*Responsibilities:*
* Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
* Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff (in ex: vitals and ekg)
* Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
* Escort patients to exam rooms
* Write out prescriptions for physical therapy, tests, etc.
* Prepare patient charts
* Prepare rooms for patient examinations
* Sterilize & clean instruments
* Take inventory of medical materials and supplies

?*Qualifications:*
* 1 years of experience working as Medical Assistant
* Must have a Medical Assistant diploma or Certificate from an accredited school
* Strong organizational skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
