Job Description
Duties:
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for multiple individuals
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and patients
- Maintain filing systems and organize documents
- Prepare and distribute memos, letters, and other documents
- Assist with data entry and record keeping
- Coordinate meetings and conferences
- Manage and maintain Physician calendars
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a medical secretary or medical administrative assistant is preferred
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
-Knowledge of surgical and other medical scheduling a must
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical administrative support is desired
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

As a Physician Secretary in our Orthopedic client's Office, you will provide essential medical administrative support, ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. Your core skills in patient service, clerical tasks, and medical office experience will be vital in managing patient records and facilitating communication. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HIPAA regulations will enhance your ability to maintain confidentiality and organization. With your premium skills in EHR systems and medical terminology, you will contribute to efficient patient care and support our healthcare team in delivering exceptional service.
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
