Seeking a licensed Psychiatric Medical Doctor for a rewarding contract opportunity to serve the vibrant and diverse community of Akwesasne in northern New York for 40 hours per month. Position Details:

• Approximately 40 hours per month for a year or longer- specific schedule to be determined
• Team-based, patient-centered medical home
• Psychiatric services for Tribal members, veterans, and community members across all ages
• Competitive All-Inclusive Rate
• Insurance: Malpractice with Tail covered by agency

Requirements:

• Valid medical degrees, New York State license and DEA, psychiatry certifications, and board certifications, with proof of good standing
• Minimum of 5 years of psychiatric practice, preferably with experience working with Tribal governments or entities
• Compliance with SRMTHS and regulatory standards, including HIPAA

Responsibilities Include:

• Medication management and therapy services
• Clinical supervision and verbal therapies
• Case documentation and data collection for billing
• Collaboration with mental health teams
• Participation in quality assurance meetings

The site provides a fully equipped and supportive environment, including a furnished office, computer, and necessary supplies. On-site facilities include a Medical Clinic, Mental Health Counseling Services, and a Diabetes Center.
