  • Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
  • Washington state RT license
    Job Details
  • CT Tech position at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.
  • Traveler will work 2 weeks of training on the dayshift and then convert over to cover the eves/nights position.
  • Common types of imaging & Job Duties: All CT exams (basic and advanced) such as pelvis colonography, coronary scans, TAVR planning.
    Job Requirements
  • BLS certification required.
  • Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) Verification required.
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Verification required.
  • Washington state RT license required.
  • Experience with GE CT scanners is a must.
    Schedule Information
  • Set shifts vary dependent on need and contract.
  • Shifts are from 7p-330a.
  • Weekend Requirements: Depends on the shift, CT runs 24/7 covered by 12 hour shifts.
  • Holiday Requirements: Depends on the shift, CT runs 24/7 same as weekends.
    Unit Specific Information
  • First day would be organizational specific orientation with modules.
    Additional Details
  • MUST provide radiation badge.
  • Average # of scans/studies per day: 20 per tech in Seattle.
  • Department Specific Equipment: GE.
  • Radiologist in-house: Yes.
  • Do they have to start IV's?: Yes.
  • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Not provided, we wear a navy or gray or mix.
