Job Description:
- Perform Therapeutic Endoscopy, including ERCP and, if possible, EUS (ERCP required, EUS highly preferred).
- Cover weekend call shifts and some shifts Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm.
- Available to work on-site Thursdays and Fridays from 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm.
- Handle endoscopy call and procedures for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Support includes RN staff, with anesthesia always available for procedures.
- Expected to manage a patient load of 6-8 admissions or procedures per day, with a census for inpatient settings ranging from 8-15.
- Handle diverse cases involving EUS, ERCP, endoscopy, and colonoscopy.
- Complete credentialing process, anticipated to take approximately 3 months.
Additional Information:
- Must be available for work on weekends.
- Local travel preferences apply; no flights.
- Credentialing with other facilities is not required.
- Position filling a temporary gap until a fellowship position is filled.
