Job Description:
We are seeking a Provider Enrollment Specialist to join our team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interacting with healthcare providers and ancillary staff to facilitate provider enrollment and file maintenance for various Medicaid programs. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Responsibilities:
  • Interact professionally with providers and ancillary staff to address inquiries and concerns related to provider enrollment.
  • Process assigned applications and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
  • Identify deficiencies in applications and work with providers to make necessary corrections.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding application status.
  • Contact providers via phone to resolve enrollment application deficiencies.
  • Adhere to Quality Assurance program guidelines to ensure high-quality processing of applications.
  • Make recommendations to management for process improvements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Education Qualification:
Minimum of 6 months of experience enrolling and credentialing healthcare providers.
