Position : Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Henderson, NC

Pay: $60k/yr

Education: Technical School Training, Associate's Degree in Engineering or Industrial/Business Management, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• Five (5) years of experience as a maintenance technician with experience in the planning and control of maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Process and food industry experience is a plus.

Greene Resources is seeking a Facility Maintenance Engineer to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Oversee/maintain policies and programs in conjunction with the Plant Manager and Operations Manager.
• Ensure that machines/production equipment is installed and functioning to specifications.
• Perform hands-on repairs/maintenance to ensure the safe and proper operation of production equipment.
• Coordinate outside vendor services in support of maintenance, upkeep, repair, and upgrades of machinery, buildings, and operations.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and metrics to drive improvement.
• Write operating instructions or programs for training purposes and assist with training employees.
• Implement operating procedures and safety.
• Assist with facilitating cost-effective repairs and maintenance.
• Evaluate and recommend changes in procedures and/or equipment repairs/replacement.
• Maintain maintenance spare parts.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• Knowledge of MS Office Software programs, EPR, and inventory systems a plus.
• Physical ability to lift and/or carry a minimum of 50lbs.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions and a warehouse setting.
• Knowledge of all Federal, State, and local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings.
• Mig, Stick Welding preferred.
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Effective team player with the ability to work independently.
