GHW Global is working closely alongside the President of one of the Midwest's leading general contractors, renowned for their extensive backlog of Highway and Bridge projects. With revenues exceeding $300M, our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to take a pivotal role in driving success within their preconstruction department.

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin

As a Senior Project Manager you will:

Project Planning & Management:

• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Oversee all phases of construction, including pre-construction, execution, and close-out.
• Manage project milestones and ensure on-time delivery.

Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and manage project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and internal staff.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure accountability at all levels.

Risk & Quality Management:

• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure that all projects adhere to safety standards, regulations, and quality requirements.

Budget & Resource Oversight:

• Track project budgets and manage resources efficiently to avoid cost overruns.
• Review and approve contracts, change orders, and invoices.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of project progress, changes, and deliverables.
• Provide detailed reports to senior leadership and clients on project performance.

Qualifications

• Experience on heavy civil construction projects up to $100M
• Strong problem-solving skills and consistent attention to detail
• Ability to manage changing deadlines and work well under pressure for multiple team leaders
• Work independently and effectively to prioritize multiple tasks
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
