Job Description:

Title: QA Automation Engineer

Location: Basking Ridge, NJ 07920 (2-3 days a week onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months (Extendable)

Pay Rate: $57.14/hr on W2

Description:

The Tableau QA Engineer will work in Metrics, Analytics and Reporting Solutions team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Testing of Tableau Dashboards using both Manual Testing and Automation Testing methodology. The candidate will work closely with Tableau Engineers and Data Engineers. This is a technical hand-on role, and we are looking for a sharp technology focused candidate who have an acumen for data quality and a passion for TESTING.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test scripts for functional, regression, and data validation of Tableau dashboards using SQL.

• Design and implement automated testing workflows for Tableau dashboards using tools such as Data gaps, Wisdom, and Selenium, ensuring thorough test coverage and accurate results documentation.

• Document and maintain detailed test plans, release strategies, and progress reports using tools like Word, Excel, JIRA, and Confluence.

• Collaborate with development teams to identify testing requirements, report issues, and ensure the quality of data visualizations and dashboard performance.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes and methodologies, implementing lessons learned from previous releases.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

• 5+ years of relevant experience in TESTING of Dashboards (preferably Tableau) - must have.

• 5+ years of SQL utilizing complex queries - must have.

• Exposure to Tableau Automation Testing Tools like Data gaps, Wiisdom, Selenium is a big plus.

• 5+ years of experience with MS Word / MS Excel / JIRA & Confluence is a must.

• Good understanding of Databases Technologies (Redshift / Oracle)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience working e?ectively in a team oriented/collaborative environment

• Experience in Pharmaceutical industry & Clinical Trials Data is a plus.

This is a PURE TECHINCAL Role - Candidate must be HANDS ON.
